For a multitude of environmental meteorological questions which are often occurring when planning city or land use, the comprehensive program system WiTraK (Windfeld- Trans-
port- und Klimatologiesystem = wind field transport and climatology system) can be used. It consists of different complex models for the simulation of flow conditions and the pollutant dispersion over structured territories in the meso- and micro scale. The models can be operated partially coupled to one another. In addition there is the option to deviate climatologically statements concerning the regional dispersion of the wind and/or the contaminant loads from a multitude of individual simulations. The calculation of trajectories with a three-dimensional wind field model MCF (Mass Consistent Flow - Model) is also possible.
