Global digital high resolution surface model
EuroWind processes the digital surface data
from the SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) of
the NASA. For many branch-specific software products,
such digital territory models are required as entry
data. Due to the global territory data also wind farm
projects can now be planned more exactly and cost-efficiently,
especially abroad.
In order to convert and check the SRTM raw data provided
by the NASA in different file formats and map projections,
the EuroWind GmbH is using multi-level procedures. Thus
we can make available exact, high-resolution digital
territory models of any regions up to the 60th degree
of latitude. The data are delivered in different file
formats (e.g. in the ASCII-Grid-, ASCII XYZ- or WAsP®MAP
format) and we can map projection with a resolution of up to
80 meters, according to your requirements.
